What are the color settings best reproducing the tones of the printed photos? Is there a tweak I can apply to get rid of the orange cast? In the manual color setting I also tried reducing the red slider to. Though the bigger issue is that I am getting an orange cast in skin tones in backlit portraits (See image below). I think this is a profile issue and will try using it again with negatives but if anyone knows why this is it would help me out!
I have tried to use the RAW output format but upon importing in Lightroom they are rendered very dark, contrasty and desaturated. I am very happy with the combination of the Epson scanner and Vuescan software delivering more true contrast levels and vivid tiff files than the Epson software.

Please note, at this time, the drivers for Mac OS 10.15.x do not support the Digital ICE functions of the V550 or V600 scanners. These have been printed in a printing lab anywhere from 1995 to 2005. However, silver-based black/white film doesn't work with infrared cleaning because the silver particles look the same in visible light and infrared light.
